Humankind

Define the type of man I am as just the humankind

Treat me well and I’ll treat you in kind

Do me wrong I hold no bitterness,

but pity that you’re riding blind

Seeing with lazy eyes no effort into wider sight

Insightful thoughts I hold no claim to them not soley mine

I share them freely with the rest of time

For as long as we can last

We maximize what we can take, but man we move too fast

Walking on fragile glass

An interstate away from inner states

I sit and and contemplate, the only thing that shows the way

Besides the sparks that fly on solemn tasks, my noble grind,

I waste too much time

What brings to light what I could never find

by searching

is coincidence and things that hurt me

Cut the hate because it isn’t working

Sometimes abstaining from the idle talk reveals the wording

I walk the line between an artist and an academic

My approach is not systemic

Antiestablishment,

but freedom is an epidemic

We get too much and we go off the track,

but when we lose control we fight the world to get it back

No, we don’t have control, it seems

It’s an illusion

Collusion between sense pleasure and opportunists

Selling us the things we think we need,

We move too fast, so we let hindsight catch us up to speed

Warnings we never heed

The consequence we spread disease

I’m just thinking out loud,

because for now it’s allowed,

but if I speak past what I know

Then you can shut me down

My mind is limited not qualified to speak the truth

Hope my ramblings are of some use, to some of you

They try to cut the knot, I’d rather untie it

Loop my loop by tangled thread

The pattern’s there for me to find it
